Brian wanted to send this podcast back in time so it would be released on time … but J.J. Abrams is bogarting all of the red matter (bastard). Here’s the latest episode full of Zune, Trek, Dollhouse and SCIENCE! Show notes after the break …
- Brian, Crispy, Patrick and Stephen finally get a chance to join the ranks of nitpicking dorks that talk about the new Star Trek movie.
- Stephen talks about science fact, since he actually has stuff on the latest shuttle mission. Stephen’s also mad he didn’t think about Tweeting from space.
- The cast talks about Dollhouse getting Trek’d in the ratings, along with our feelings on the last episode you can see without using BitTorrent or ComicCon (bastards)
- Brian’s quote of this episode: “Zune, the Pontiac of MP3 players“

I’m very much with Stephen on the movie: almost all of the negative thoughts I had about it were things that I thought about _after_ the movie. …and all of them were absolutely swallowed by the overall awesome. I LOVED it.
The one thing I stuck on while I was watching was the hand-waving that they did during Spock Prime’s “as you know, Jim” mind-meld. If Spock was racing toward Romulus in a special fast ship, that implies that the Vulcans determined that they can make it in time. But then, “the unthinkable happened.” Bwah?
Like you guys said, there are a whole bunch of little bitty picky things I could complain about, but the bottom line is I just don’t care.
